I just read the latest story in Slynn's Clint-centric Recruitment series, which has Clint and Natasha in a conflict of allegiance between SHIELD and the Avengers: Time and Reason. Awesome read! Might work well as a stand-alone but it probably makes more sense to start reading at the beginning: it's a series of six stories so far, with more to come. Total word count at the moment is 70,000 words but each story is somewhat self-contained so the series can be read in parts. And it's really worth the time.

What I love about the series is that I never know what to expect. She doesn't draw from popular fanon, instead blends comics canon with the movie characters in a way that feels original, and also believable and IC. Clint's and Natasha's relationship with SHIELD is fascinating; again, I love how Slynn draws on comics canon to flesh it out. And the other characters are great, too. (The most recent part has some wonderful Pepper&Clint stuff, among many other things.)
