Awesome fun! ♥ I spent a happy afternoon reading this fic... it's got quirkyness (care of Darcy), and more serious notes (care of Clint and his baggage), it's got lots of action, villains, and SHIELD agents being freakishly competent at their jobs. So much good stuff crammed into this story. I very much like Topaz' writing style!
I also really like how Natasha is written - her characterization gels with the way I see her... which I have a relatively hard time finding outside of Nat-centric fic, especially in stories that pair Clint with someone else. I like the characterization in general. The interesting thing is that the fic was written just before The Avengers came out, and she writes that she has it based on comics and the prequel movies ... but apart from Avengers mansion rather than Stark tower, it doesn't clash with the movie at all.
