One of the most convincing Ward character explorations I’ve read, plus some fascinating hints at Skye's secret that make me hanker for a Skye-centric sequel.

I went to the climbing hall tonight to meet with my new climbing partner, who's super enthusiastic and can't wait to get started. Alas, when we arrived they just closed down for the night because, it turns out, we were the only two people in my town who'd rather go climbing than watch Germany-France, apparently.

I'd asked them Wednesday whether they'd be open and they said that, yup, someone got the short straw. Whoever got the short straw went AWOL to watch football instead.
