Happy New Year, flist! May the new year bring you good things.

eta: Here, have an autocorrect to suit the occasion...

We had a quiet and lovely new years eve, with good company and good food. (I should've taken a picture of the food before we sank our claws into it, it was so pretty... oven-baked veggies and chicken legs. Yum.) The cat has finally come out of her hiding place and accepted a few pieces of chicken as consolation for the fireworks, which freak her out every time.

Rec of the day

yuletide rec: A Stingray fic! Not the puppet series, the 80s show about the mysterious ninja vigilante who helps people in exchange for a future favor which he uses to help other people. I'd forgotten how much I was into that show. And there seems to be virtually no fic so this story was even more of a surprise treat.
