Bones wank on f_w. My little fandom has arrived. I feel strangely proud.
It's the bruhaha about the colour-blind tie-in writer. Okay, I was annoyed by Booth's steel-blue eyes myself *wanks unabashedly*. Why? C'mon... because it sends the signal that Tie-in Guy hasn't watched the show and thusly seems not that qualified to write a novel about it. Now, I didn't slam the book in a corner and it turns out he managed to do a decent job after all, but getting the appearances of the main characters wrong is really not the best way to inspire confidence and trust in your reader. :oP

eta: and now for some real wank, fresh from the presses: fanwriter offers her SW novel for sale on Amazon.
Q: Having set Another Hope in an already existing universe, I find myself wondering if there was any concern on your part regarding copyrights?
No, because I wrote this book for myself. This is a self-published story and is not a commercial book. Yes, it is for sale on Amazon, but only my family, friends and acquaintances know it’s there. ...*groan*
Damn you, Lori Jareo, for making me agree with Lee Goldberg on something fanfic-related. I'm glad we're finally getting spring-like temperatures, this isn't the time for hell to freeze over. Kindly get off my side, you make my sideget C&D'd look stupid.
