For those who're on BBF: we currently voting on including Firefly recs. Make sure to throw your 2 cents into the ticky box... or something.

My copy of "Buried Deep" arrived. So far not bad; not great either but the plot is interesting, particularly the forensic detail which is generously thrown in. I've seen better characterization in fic, but I've also seen worse. * Just, note for the writer: Seeley Booth? Does not have steel-blue eyes. Yes, it does too matter. Fans care about minor details like that. And how hard is it to take a look at the guy's eyes and double-check. Steel-blue eyes... in a way, that's worse than chocolate-colored orbs.
*[eta... after the first third the book gets much better; the chemistry is there and the narration flows quite nicely.]
[eta2... finshed. I give it three stars out of five.]
(Btw, I stand corrected: Reichs didn't co-author this book, even though amazon lists her as co-author.)
