Yesterday was another gorgeous sunny spring day so I rollerbladed to the comic store downtown on my 7th or 8th attempt to get my Hawkeye and Black Widow comics. I've been waiting on BW since January; yesterday they finally handed me one issue... which happened to be #4 so I still can't read it. I have no idea what happened with 1-3 or with Hawkeye 16 which is also still missing in action. They assure me this level of fail is unusual and they'll let me have one issue each for free, but I'm starting to wonder if I shouldn't cancel my subscriptions and wait until I can get the TPBs from Amazon.
But at least it was a nice skating tour.
The script for my new project is here. Great script, really fun to illustrate, but also very work-intensive and research-heavy. The work from the project before is still not concluded so now I'm working two jobs at once, but since I started scheduling much more generously, that kind of thing no longer means sleepless nights and overtime so I'm not bothered. Means no time for fanart, though...
I’m sure I don’t need to tell you this, Andy, but RUN DON’T WALK to see Captain America: Winter Solider(in theaters April 4), which uncorks, as one S.H.I.E.L.D. star told us at the film’s Hollywood screening a “huge tie-in” to the ABC series. And perhaps because of that, “Things go crazy” in the season finale, EP Maurissa Tancharoen said, “and not all survive.”
