Summary: Relocated against her will to New York, Darcy Lewis has to juggle working as an admin monkey for SHIELD, covertly finishing her degree and falling in love. Only one of these things is easy, and it's not the one that she thinks it will be.

I started reading this story because I enjoy a good outsider POV. But this is really Darcy's story, and my favorite part ended up being the way she deals (pragmatically yet with style) with all the mundane obstacles that life sometimes throws you - as well as the less mundane ones in the form of SHIELD and their non-disclosure agreements. Another favorite part: the descriptions of the day-to-day work that keep a SHIELD base running. And I found the slow romance between her and Bruce really beautiful.

Flist, can you rec me funny Avengers fic??? Something hilarious like "Every Dong has its day" (which I have read, uh, four times already.) It's gotta be out there! Teamfic preferred but I'll take Gen of any characters and also Nat/Clint, Steve/Tony, Tony/Pepper, Thor/Jane, Bruce/Tony, Darcy/Bruce, Maria/Steve... hm, that should cover it.
