Bruce/Clint/Natasha; guest starring: Victor von Doom; Rating: mature; 25283 words
Summary: Post-New York, Clint's still having trouble dealing with the whole Loki-controlling-his-brain situation, and Natasha seems to be avoiding him. Bruce Banner, meanwhile, just wants to get back to Kolkata.
Now, I usually can't ship Clint and Natasha with other people but this story made it work for me easily. There's that slow, subtle growth of the various relationships, often happening between the lines. Giving each of the characters weight, in completely different ways. Ah, I find it hard to describe. It's a really intriguing read, I loved it. It also has possibly my favorite depiction of Clint dealing, in the aftermath of Loki's possession.
Oh, and there's supervillain plot, too. *g*
