The Riddle by Charmax (Xena: Warrior Princess)
characters: Xena, Gabrielle, Ares; dl ( 11.1MB)

This vid is an episodic of "The Bitter Suite" (aka one of the most awesome hours of tv ever, imho...) But I don't know if you even need to be familar with the show or that episode to enjoy the vid - the themes become clear enough through the lyrics, and the visuals speak for themselves. It's an older vid (from 2004) so the picture quality isn't as razor sharp as one has gotten used to but the editing is good and really, this song fits the storyline like it was written for it, both in lyrics and in style. Perfect match!

I got caught up on Leverage last night and went to bed with the silliest grin on my face. :) It means no new eps for months but I still have plenty of episodes I want to rewatch.

And I sketched three pages for work so maybe now I can finally get over my weird block and draw fanart today. I want to! I feel properly inspired.

The other day I went climbing since my cold seemed to be mostly on the retreat leaving me only with stubbornly clogged sinuses. I had tried to clear them with everything in my arsenal, even resorting to that spray they sell at the drugstore... the one where the list of side effects says something like "if you use this for over a week you'll lose your sense of smell and your nose will fall off". Okay, not quite as dramatic but it does sound scary so I didn't dare use that stuff a lot. Anyway, Sunday I didn't feel like a wrung-out mop for once: indeed I felt like moving around would be a good way to get my head clear. Tackle the problem mechanically, so to speak. So I went running a little first, and in the evening we went climbing. It felt. SO GOOD! Man I missed that. I figured afterwards I'd be either completely wiped or I'd feel better and I actually felt better, so yay. Better than drugs.

Speaking of... [livejournal.com profile] lmx_v3point3 linked me to this video of Anthony Gullsten in Font. Thrilling to watch, there's a nice variety to the routes he picked and the last move in particular is spectacular (Rainbow Rocket, starting around 5:30).
