I, for one, have now every intention to boycott a movie I otherwise know nothing about... I just hate to be taken for an idiot and, really, those are the lamest attempts at sockpuppetry I have seen in a long time. But on the other hand, this sorry excuse for a community illustrates quite nicely a number of the problems inherent in Six Apart's bright new idea of sponsored communities.

It's already making its way around the blogsphere, too... here's a post on Making Light. Great publicity indeed.
