WIP status update

So, page 8 still isn't quite done yet... instead I finished page 12, page 11 is probably next. In other words, I've given up on the whole working in sequence idea. It's just not my thing. Instead I'll post the whole comic in one soon as all the remaining five pages are done.

But if you'd like a little preview, here's page 12. It's unlettered but it is the final page, so still somewhat spoilerish; you might wanna give it a pass. I'm just too impatient to let a finished page sit on my hard drive for a few weeks without showing even a few people. (Just don't link to it.)

I might still modify some of the colors later, when I'm doing the lettering.

Dude, that's a bold use of green -- works great.

Bold, yup... my usually comfort palette ranges predominantly somewhere between indigo and naples yellow, so this green shade seemed counter-intuitive... and yet, this page insisted on it. You have no idea how often I went back and forth between this version and my alternative, which has a more red-ish top panel and the skyscrapers in the last panel a misty dark green against lighter green bg.

I just couldn't decide but all my friends who saw them picked this one at the first glance. Glad you think it works. I think so too, I just might change a few nuances in the smaller panels.
