I still have a week to go and one fully-formed idea for another fake!comic cover in my head. Maybe I'll get that done before the year is over and I have to get back to work.

It seems to me that you've had a real distinctive palette this year. I mean these look cohesive somehow.

Huh, interesting that you say that, I didn't notice.

I'm working on that cover art now for my final piece this year and it is trickkkkey. Trying to emulate that marvel look is *hard* if you grew up on European comics. Great practise, though, and I feel it adds to my style. I'll never be able to fake that look convincingly though. The cover art has four characters, maybe even five if I can fit Kyle McLachlan's character, and they're all supposed to look dynamic, and there's the likenesses of course, and the composition...

no better way to spend the holidays, imho. :)
