I wanted one of him in action, too, so I added the sketch of him in Spartan battle dress. According to my source, I didn't even have to change his hair style (though I don't know about the beard.) He should be wearing a similar helmet in that one, but I didn't want to cover his face again so I left it off. Imagine helmet as needed.


Will probobly color that one later, but I want to do a couple more fashion eras first and I rather like this sketch as it is.

Thanks. I'm pleased with how it turned out. I really hope I won't lose the sense of movement in that sketch when I do the final version. (Actually that's the main reason why I posted it as-is.)

I like the colors in the first one, but the sketch really does seem more "him". I'm not sure if it's the sense of movement, the lack of helmet, or both. Either way, that uniform does quite suit him!

Yeah, I finished the first one because it's more line with the series of poses I'm doing but that second one is more Ronon. He's more in his element when he's moving. (So is Rodney, I noticed when I started drawing him; though in a different way.)
