Ahem. I swear I'm not gonna make a habit of drawing our heroes half-clad (or not clad at all) but this kinda goes with the last one I posted... call it a companion piece, if you will. Besides, after the stuff that Joe M. and David H. posted in their blogs, I just couldn't resist. I blame those two.

Oh, also, more LJ wank... apparently, on top of abolishing the basic account option (an ill-advised business decision, if you ask me), LJ started hiding popular interests they deem icky, such as bisexuality, yaoi, depression, fanfiction, and others. U-huh. (link at metafandom)

I don't understand LJ management AT ALL. What's this about hiding popular but (in their eyes) icky interests? Didn't they learn anything from their overzealous LJ purge?

LJ... can't really say I understand those decisions either, not even from a business point of view. elfwreck suggested somewhere to make basic accounts invite only. Now, that would make sense to me. But deleting the option altogether is stupid, since it served many of us as an entry drug.

As to the interest censoring, well, good to know which groups they'd rather not be associated with. But, I guess they'll still happily take our money... pecunia non olet. (I still don't see an alternative to LJ at this point, mind...)
