Ahem. I swear I'm not gonna make a habit of drawing our heroes half-clad (or not clad at all) but this kinda goes with the last one I posted... call it a companion piece, if you will. Besides, after the stuff that Joe M. and David H. posted in their blogs, I just couldn't resist. I blame those two.

Oh, also, more LJ wank... apparently, on top of abolishing the basic account option (an ill-advised business decision, if you ask me), LJ started hiding popular interests they deem icky, such as bisexuality, yaoi, depression, fanfiction, and others. U-huh. (link at [livejournal.com profile] metafandom)

OMG this is brilliant :D I'll love JM forever for posting those design pictures because now people are posting all the good bathtub art and we'll probably get a similar scene in S5 :D

And the rubber duck's there as well ♥ You win!

Hee. Indeed. I was going to write something like, 'I can't believe no one's done this already,' but I had a feeling that by the time I post there'd be bath tubs galore.

I never drawn anything so fast. I started Friday night after work, since I simply couldn't resist and -- same as you -- thought they'll be popping up.

love the perspective in yours.

Hehe! Wonderful! :)

[identity profile] trystings.livejournal.com 2008-03-16 06:26 pm (UTC)(link)
A companion piece! Haha - this is great. Can't wait for that episode. I have high hopes. If they made the tub, they're gonna use it, right? :)

I don't understand LJ management AT ALL. What's this about hiding popular but (in their eyes) icky interests? Didn't they learn anything from their overzealous LJ purge?

Those guys sure know their fans. Ah, it feels nice being pandered to every once in a while.

According to David Hewlett's latest blog entry, they're gonna use it. ;)

LJ... can't really say I understand those decisions either, not even from a business point of view. [livejournal.com profile] elfwreck suggested somewhere to make basic accounts invite only. Now, that would make sense to me. But deleting the option altogether is stupid, since it served many of us as an entry drug.

As to the interest censoring, well, good to know which groups they'd rather not be associated with. But, I guess they'll still happily take our money... pecunia non olet. (I still don't see an alternative to LJ at this point, mind...)

Hee! I love it. His blissed out face! His knees! His rubber ducky! Awesome.

[identity profile] toysdream.livejournal.com 2008-03-16 07:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Aha! I knew the Ancients had rubber duckies! Now if only our heroes can uncover the long-lost Ark of Loofah.

Hey, it's a bigger rubber duckie than the one in 'A Dog's Breakfast'!! Must be because of the bigger budget....

Ohh, looking good there, Rodney.

Ahem. I swear I'm not gonna make a habit of drawing our heroes half-clad (or not clad at all) *cough* I really don't think anyone would mind if you made a habit of it. ;)

BTW, isn't it "advisor?"

[identity profile] dovil.livejournal.com 2008-03-16 10:49 pm (UTC)(link)
*claps hands in glee*

I know it was a joke, but how much money would I pay to see a rubber duck bobbing about. :)

I actually googled both, and they both appear correct. I'm guessing 'adviser' is British? And McKay's Canadian. I changed it in the noticeboard post though, because it just looks wrong. I'll probably go and change it in the lettering as well.

Um, native speakers?

[identity profile] astridv.livejournal.com 2008-03-16 10:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Ah, you're an American native speaker! Is it 'scientific adviser' or 'scientific advisor'(if the guy in question is a Canadian working for the American military)?

[identity profile] monanotlisa.livejournal.com 2008-03-16 10:58 pm (UTC)(link)
I too used to think that one is British, but in Britain, advisors were also...well, advisors.

And hey, I checked: LEO says it's both perfectly correct. *g*

If they have an actual rubber ducky in that scene, I might squee out loud.

Very cute! But is it big enough for two? ;)
