comic - ats/fray, by yhlee and myself: pg6 preview

Page six is inked, but not coloured or lettered yet. Maybe I'll get around to colouring it tomorrow... page seven is already halfway pencilled, too... but I have a feeling from tomorrow on I'll be back on the job, so for now I'm posting what I've got. If you don't mind story spoilers, here's a quick preview.

Yay! I don't know what's going on, but those vamp faces look so cool!

Heh :)
And I just found that I'm not back on the job today 'cause my script isn't ready, which is welcome news (I'm still in need of a little unwinding.) So, there should be colour and text soon.

Terrific!

Thanks so much for letting us see the creative process.

I often find the creative process more interesting than the finished product so I'm happy when others find that sort of stuff interesting as well.

I love seeing the preliminaries--one of the things I like them to show in graphic novels is the early sketches and concept drawings.

Me too. And when I go to see an art exhibition, I love to see the sketch books. I have some great books with concept art and storyboards for movies... stunning artwork, sometimes more so than the end result because it's not so smooth, more dynamic.
