After going on and on about my taxes, some comic pages for a change. Beware, this is a WIP; I'll later go back and change details, so these are just preliminary, low res scans with minimal editing [eta better scan of p3]. I hope the picture quality is good enough to make the text on page four readable (I just scribbled it in, if it's too sloppy to read, yell...)

This is utterly and completely awesome. Love the look in Angel's eyes when he says he can't quite put gameface away. I can't wait to see what's going on/the color in page 4! Yay!

Thanks! I wanted to show him more or less panicking inside, but not go over the top... we're talking about Mr Deadpan, after all.

Or Mr. trying to be deadpan--Joe and I recently rewatched "Origin," and watching him around Connor...*smirk* (I died when Angel finds out Connor is going to Stanford. Okay, so I did grad school there.)

That scene was exactly when I knew that this story would benefit most from being a comic rather than a words-only fic. Just so you know. :-)

Thanks. Hopefully it won't be too long between updates, though I have to a pile of work to deal with first. Maybe I'll take the script with me on vacation; seems like a really good way to pass the time during a five hour layover.

Good thing is, I just had two deadlines switched and as a result my summer work load looks much less stressful. Maybe I'll even have another page ready this month. I figure, with 12 pages I want to be a lot faster than with the last comic. I'm trying for two pages a month.
