Avengers fanart: cat burglars (Clint & Natasha)

Life got in the way of my recent fanart plans, but yesterday I finally managed to draw something again. Loosely inspired by ratcreature's prompt: They could be breaking into a stylish supervillain lair, its flavor depending on what you like to draw, e.g. could be Bond-style or Gothic or futuristic...

I sort of went for the minimalist approach.

Very cool! The window + silhouettes + night clouds look great. Oh Clint, of course you would bring a long bow.

For the background I used the night sky I made for that one OTW icon. I'm a fan of recycling, and I thought it works really well in contrast.

Hm, come to think of it I should use my free time and just paint pages of various watercolor skies.

Originally I wanted to go in a different direction, show the villain's lair in elaborate detail... but I decided that less is more. Plus I already had that sky finished, which was serendipitous.
