more fanart WIP

I've reached that certain point in the coloring process where I'm so happy with the direction so far that I hesitate to touch it any more for fear of messing it up. So I scanned it in the current WIP state just in case. If I mess up the acrylics I shall fix it in Photoshop.


And more WIP... just added a thicker outline and the details on that high-tech quiver of his.

Oh man, the color of that sky is soooo gorgeous.

I'm really happy with that, too. I'm not touching that sky any more, except maybe a few tweaks in Photoshop.

I agree with the commenter above, the sky looks great. And I like how even in this WIP stage you can see from the color values a clear sense of fore-, middle- and background.

Yeah, I gotta be careful not to mess with that. Roomie just convinced me not to paint over some of the buildings in the background, which I had intended to do. Less is more... but it's tricky to decide which part needs a touch of extra color and which should be left as-is.

Yep. This here would be more of a poisonous green sky thanks to environmental influences. But pretty.
