Cool game: Name the Countries of Europe. The links for the other continents are under the Europe map.

The roommates and I had a lot of fun playing this game late at night, staying up way longer than planned. We played it with three people and pooled our knowledge, and still didn't get all of them. I would say it's also educational, except I just played the Europe map again and didn't get a higher number than the last time we tried it...

Looks like the DDOS attack on LJ is still ongoing so I'll crosspost later. It seems that DW has been slower than usual, too, I'm guessing due to the added traffic from bereft LJers.

I only got 41 of the 47, though one of that was that embarrassingly I forgot how to spell Liechtenstein correctly, even though I tried to enter that country. The others I didn't think of were San Marino, Montenegro, Albania, Moldova and Monaco.

I forgot Liechtenstein entirely, I kept mispelling Luxembourg, and I wrecked my brain but the name for Ukraine just wouldn't come to me. And I always forget Vatican City. I missed eight altogether, but those were the d'uh ones.

Before this game I didn't even know that there's a country called San Marino.

I know San Marino mostly because as a kid I collected Disney-themed stamps, and aside from some tiny island nations like Antigua & Barbuda and such San Marino is one of the countries who do Disney series all the time. Though when I was little I didn't know it was inside Italy, but thought it was an island in the Caribbean like the other places the stamps came from.
