I made a story illustration for tipper_green's The Black Lake:




I love this fic and illustrating it was fun! It's an excellent action-adventure featuring the team and Keller... particularly Teyla and Jennifer get to shine but the guys get plenty of airtime, too. It's gen, with a nod to canon McKeller.

sidenote: please, should you comment at the story, don't bash Jennifer or share your unhappiness with the pairing on the show. I only mention it because people keep doing it and it comes across as really discouraging for fans of the character or the pairing (intentionally or not)...

sidenote 2: Well, it looks like the roomie's scanner has also kicked the bucket now, or will do so very soon. I could barely get a usable scan for this image. I will have to buy a proper scanner.

I really liked the creepy atmosphere. Now I'm gonna have to read the story cause I'm curious why they're in a red rubber dingy. And there are bugs... why are there bugs??? Very cool

I can really rec that story; tipper is great with alien settings, and just talking about this fic I still get the feeling of being down there. Very effective. Great character stuff, too! Also, bugs. Heh.
