Muppets in Atlantis by
chayiana
Music: "The muppets" main theme
gen; humor; Spoilers up to 3x20 "First strike"
Chayiana's Lorne-vid "Be a Rockstar" is one of my favorite SGA vids ever, and one I use to recruit among my friends. So I checked out "Muppets", which is *hilarious*. She has great comedic timing. This one might also make a good recruiter vid though it gives a slightly, well, distorted view of the show. ;)
The Lost Button by
chayiana (SGA/Dr.Who)
Music: Laurel and Hardy's theme; Artist: Marvin Hatley; Genre: Crossover, silent movie, action/humour
This vid really captures the feeling of that old b/w silent movie comedies. Funny and charming. Those two shows play together well.
I'm days behind on answering email and LJ comments... but I should have time to catch up soon. There's only one last page to sketch, then that stage will be all done and all that's left is inking and coloring the final pages. I already promised my friends & roomies that I'll take them all out to a nice steak dinner once the book is done, and I promised myself an hour-long massage. Heh heh heh. *rubs hands* And I think the pages I got so far are looking really good, you can't tell that the logistics behind it have been chaotic at times.
The high from yesterday's run wore off sometime this afternoon. I went to the gym but while necessary for my back, the effect isn't comparable at all. I want my pleasant endorphine buzz. I gotta go running again tomorrow. Hope it won't rain.
Oh, is anyone on my flist planning to go to San Diego Comic Con? I booked a flight the other day, not overpriced for once, and
jwaneeta and I already secured a room. I think applications for con tickets aren't open yet, but in previous years pros got to take one guest on their pass. So if you're interested, drop me a line. Free pass for all four days, and you'd get your own pass so no need to stick together at all times. I can also enter a name now and if that person decides not to come, it's no problem. It's just very difficult to change the name at the con center.
I considered flying back via Minnesota and take in Writercon on the way home but in the end I booked a flight out of Seattle. Now of course, seeing the list of who's gonna be there I'm slightly regretting it. OTOH I really love the Northwest. (Even if it starts raining every time I go there.) But anyway, two cons within ten days might've been a bit much? I don't know...

I've been sick for two bloody months and haven't had any exercise at all. It's getting ridiculous.

I caught three colds within six months which must be a new record, and was getting really sick of it. So now I'm drinking this ridiculously expensive organic juice that was recommended to me, and I don't know if it's the placebo effect or spring kicking in, or the wonder juice, but I feel like I have more energy.

Aww, see, I'm considering going to Writercon, but have deemed Comic Con out of my budget this year. *tempt, tempt, tempt*
And congrats on getting to the final page! There's nothing quite like clearing a big project off your plate.

I'm still not done with the entire thing though, there remain 8 pages to be inked or colored. Still, first stage is done which is great. (Or will be done in an hour or two.)

Let me run some numbers and do a final check on dates to make sure there is no conflict with work. *getting jazzed now*
