If it wasn't anatomically impossible, I'd kick myself in the ass right now.
I just found out that one of the pages of my comic was still set to 'beta' filter the whole time. *head/desk* (I even logged out before posting just to make sure all the pictures were viewable by all, but my browser must've drawn them from the cache.) Thanks to
johnsheppardluv for the heads up.
(here's a direct link to the page in question.) It's at the end of the 'Hunting of the Rodent' montage.
Seriously, there aren't enough desks in the world to bang my head against. (And that page has got one of my favorite shots, too. *sob*)

At least I caught it more or less in time (well, after 30 hours.) And it turns out the story even made sense, mostly, sortakinda, without the missing page. Still... *facepalm*.
And now I'm of course feeling extra-paranoid about the rest of the images I've posted. I checked the post in two different browsers, logging out and clearing my cache repeatedly. I'm telling you, I'm never using that stupid filter ever again.
I went back and fixed it as soon as I spotted it the next day, but the memory still makes me cringe.
Yeah, I know that feeling. But if it makes you feel better, I didn't notice any typos and I'm pretty sure I saw that fic relatively early.

Me too! That's why I thought I'd make extra sure this time, and tested the post by logging out. I never occurred to me that Firefox might just grab the images from cache. I'm really glad you pointed it out when you did.
