doyle_sb4 had the coolest idea: a ficathon in tribute of Angel the Series, covering every episode. Open not only to fic writers, but also artists, essay writers and so on. At least 55 people will be needed to make it work, so go and comment if you're interested!

Secondly, and in related news: Should that ficathon happen, I would love to do a comic. So I'm testing the waters here... would there be a writer out there interested in collaborating on a comic project? Nothing long, I'm thinking about maybe two pages, anything more would just take too long. (some older comic artwork)

I think your x-files comic's great. :) I'd love to collaborate, but I don't think I could write something short that would work in comic format. I'm better at longish and actiony. Just not good at short fiction in general.

I'd really love to see you do an Angel comic, though!

Yup, we're talking drabble here. And you're right, the tricky thing is to find something that translates well into comic. Sometimes you can have a well-written story which simply wouldn't work in the other medium. I searched six weeks for that x-files fic...

But I think it can be done. :) And if not comic, I'll figure out something else artwork-wise. It's just too good an idea to pass on.
