Mildew?!? (there, that's a subject line I haven't used before)
So, this was an interesting morning. The people living in our basement came upstairs for help because their electricity went out, and the pump gave off a very loud, very worrying alarm sound. When I called the electrician, we saw the reason: there's mildew in the walls. Sorry, I meant there's MILDEW!!!!11!! The walls must be soaked; in one room the mildew reaches from floor to ceiling. And people are living and sleeping down there, not even aware of the health risk, apparently. I phoned property management and I think I managed to convey the urgency. Oh, a fun and productive way to spend a morning.
Work-wise, I'm only about two days away from finishing this one book, after which the chance for colored fanart is approximately as high as the chance for more rain. In other words, extremely high. And, I can finally color the book I inked earlier this year, which I had to put on the backburner for months in its half-finished state. I'm looking forward to finally finishing it, and it should be fun to color.
Speaking of rain, today there isn't any, so we'll go rollerblading this afternoon. :) In a lousy summer like this the trick is to soak up the rare ray of sunshine.
Eh, that whole alarm/mildew thing has screwed with my concentration. Have to get back to work now.
