fic rec: SGA / looking for McKay/Carter recs

So, huh. All of a sudden I realized I got a yen for Mckay/Carter fic. Considering I haven't even watched a single episode where the two appeared together (still haven't got to 48 hours), I mostly blame it on Tapping and Hewlett being all adorable together at Comic Con. Really, no idea where else this could've come from.

I started digging, and unsurprisingly finding McCay/Carter isn't quite as easy as finding McShep or the Rodney/John friendship gen fic I've been inhaling since I discovered the show. But I already found a few stories that I really liked, particularly this one:

(turns out that dashamte is also the author of Salt Of The Earth, the novel-length fic that kept me from reading Deathly Hallows... this story is completely different in tone.)
Gen; Minor warning for language and violence
McKay and Carter bonding over Physics is the way to this reader's heart...

If anyone has recs for McKay & Carter centric fic (either gen or het) I'd love to see them.

I got more SGA fic recs, but I'll post them later; it's getting late. Tomorrow I should really, really get back to work - jet lag mosty cured and all. This has been a good vacation. I feel rejuvenated.

I'll probably post the other two colored SGA scenes within the next couple days. And I'll also finally look into uploading the BetterBuffyFictionArchive again. Sorry, I said I'd take care of it last month, but between getting ready for San Diego Con and working on two projects simultaneously, there was just too much going on.

Thanks for the tip. I was going to email Eretria anyway... just found a McKay/Carter story of hers which I loved. :)
