It's about 3:30 a.m. and I just finished the final illustrations for my current project. (yay) I still have to do the cover art, but I'm waiting for the sketch to be greenlighted, so for now I'm done. *revels in feeling of accomplishment which will pass all too soon*

Can't post drawings from this one yet but another one is about to come out, so here're some vikings instead. Because I must post something. :)



I read some good fic lately... didn't have the time to rec but I think I bookmarked everything for later. Also, got some unanswered mail in my inbox, but it's kinda late so I'll dig into those tomorrow. G'night all.

It was sheer luck how the sky turned out... After I'd applied the first wash I realized that I had to add more picture to the rop and right, otherwise there wouldn't be enough room for all the text that's supposed to go there later. And with watercolor, it's pretty much impossible to add areas but I tried anyway, and got the cloud formation as a result. :) I love the unpredictability you get with watercolors (at least when it works out, I love it...)

You're right about watercolors... when it's going right it's like they're doing half the work for you. We shall not speak of when it goes wrong, sob.

I got a note from a friend who overbooked for SD CON -- I need to forward it to you. We have the choice of some decent accomodations, at least for a couple of days if the heat gets to be too much. But we should both look over the options because they're a bit confusing.

Yup, no horns. They would've looked neat though... historically inaccurate, but neat. *g*
