Years ago I was lettering Batman comics for a while... reprints of the very first issues, and yup, lots of funny stuff. Exasperating, too, if you have to letter stuff like: Cap: If Batman can't stop the gang from setting off the device, all is doomed. Batman (thinking): If I can't stop them from setting off the device, all is doomed.
There was one translator who translated 'rope' into 'Batseil' (bat rope)... I bet he was a little burnt out by the stupid dialog and that was his way to rebell. I don't remember if I lettered it in that way.
speaking of comics I don't know if you of the community called Scans dayily (http://community.livejournal.com/scans_daily/). It's place were people talks and show pages of comics that they dislike or like, and with no context or nsfw pictures, or Wonder Woman from the golden age to know.
Not with my permission, but they rec'd the comic in another thread so I'm cool with them using it. I'm flattered as hell that someone's using mine instead of some official artwork. :)

Also, yay s6! Whohoo. I just hope they get a good artist on it. As long as it's not the one who did the obviously photoshopped Spike comics.
Thought about permission some more... I guess my policy is that people need not ask, though credit would be nice. After all, we don't ask for permission when we poach from the shows for icons and stuff. ^_^
