All right, so I'd lost a whole work week due to being sick, and I was starting to freak out just a teensy bit... but then last week I finished the sketches for a whole book in just five days and now I'm back on track. hehe. And to celebrate that, I took the rest of the weekend off to finally finish the last bits of ink work for the crossover comic and start coloring. Now all that's left is finish the coloring... which shouldn't take too long, now that I finally figured out a color scheme. I actually think I might have the whole thing ready to post within just a few days.

Which is a good thing because I have this idea for a Bones/NCIS crossover fic (or possibly an Angel/Kate gen story... we just watched The Prodigal which always puts me in an Angel/Kate mood... and then there's this nagging idea for a Bones vid but vidding is still too daunting at this point...)

It's pretty darn hard that freelancers can't get sick and enjoy it like everybody else. :P I worked through my virus but it was all crap and had to be worked over and over again. But yay, like you I'm also more or less back on track.

Glad to hear you took a night off for fan things! It's very good for the brain, I think. (And thanks for the rec. :)

Yeah! When a doctor informs me that they're gonnan write me off work for a week... that's about the only time I curse the fact that I'm self-employed.

This time I felt so meh I didn't even attempt to work. The first few days, I couldn't even read so all I could do was watch tv. And not even good tv: crappy shows where you don't have to engage the brain.

I'm off to the travel agent now, look into return flights. I'll get back to you soon as I got the info. :)
