For me, it was after I saw the first few Buffy graphic novels that I was all '.....uh, no." I didn't like the art AT ALL (and I've been a Joss fan since the Buffy movie, so I pretty much eagerly devour anything he has even a fingernail in...except the graphic novels, which made me sad), so I didn't even bother with picking them up to read them. But yeah, Fray? Worlds of awesome. It even had me LOLing as I read, which was really the hallmark of Joss for me. God yeah, the art rocks all corners of ass.
