The way you've got the orb glowing and the rest in shadow, with the so understated "long story" bit of dialogue--great effect.

And I added this effect on my computer *beams*. I'm finally starting to use my graphic software properly. Though I was still using Paint Shop Pro, because me and Photoshop don't get along...
