Finished another book this very minute. You gotta make the best of your jetlag - amazing, the amount of work one can get done between the hours of midnight and six am. Now I can take time off to ink page four of the comic *rubs hands in glee*. Maybe even the next three pages as well, the pencilling is as good as done. I'm itching to try out that comic pro art board I bought at Comic Con.

In the mood for some fannish squee? Then stroll over to [livejournal.com profile] ros_fod's journal and read her account of meeting with Vincent Kartheiser. (Scroll down the comments. Link courtesy of [livejournal.com profile] starlet2367)

Here's something I'd been meaning to link to and forgot. (link found at [livejournal.com profile] yhlee's.) Holly Black on writing a graphic novel. It's also interesting to read this from an artist's POV... hm, normally I don't give the storytelling that much (conscious) thought but rather follow my gut. But reading the comments, I'm suddenly in the mood to post about this, too but first [livejournal.com profile] jwaneeta and I have to share her theory on Harry Potter.

Now that I have a few days off, maybe I can figure out how to get the tv in my new computer to work. I don't really miss having a tv picture since I mostly put it on audio-only anyway. But without Sky's tv guide I have no idea what's on. Those vivo graphics cards are cool, but a pain to configure.

Erm, whoopsie. Not yet. I've been downstairs on the laptop because my studio air conditioner broke, so it slipped my mind. Will do it today. It's only rational... the minute I started drawing my elbow kicked up again.

all I want to do is sleep all day long, and all through the night, and I can do that now without feeling bad.

Sleep is the great healer! I hope you have a truly epic sleep.

Oh, and thanks for the bookfair dates. That's a huge help!
