off to Comic Con (+ one Bones fic rec)

I'm all packed and ready to head off to San Diego tomorrow. Since I'm only going for a week, I'm leaving my rollerblades at home. Amazing how much stuff fits in a backpack if you don't pack those.

For the past two days the plan was to work hard, get some extra work finished before the trip. But what did I do? Lie in the sun and read fanfic. Bad me, no cookie. :/ (The fic was good, though.) I have to catch a train around 5 am tomorrow, which is awfully close to the time I go to bed normally. Good thing jwaneeta and I are going to have two days to hang out before the con starts. I'll try not to be all zombie-like.

One quick Bones rec for the road (I'll do that longer recs post when I get back.):
