It looks like I'll have an entire week to do as I please as I wait for feedback on my last batch of sketches, so I've started rifling through my fic recs here and on tumblr in the hope I can find a spiffy little fic I could turn into a comic. It's tricky because a minuscule percentage of fic fullfills the necessary criteria (a complete story that can be told in half a dozen pages *and* be visually interesting *and* fun to draw) but I'd love to do another comic and the timing would be perfect. I did that 5-page Hawkeye story in 2 weeks, so I could get a head start at least. Just need to find that story...
When I looked for material for that last Hawkeye comic I saw a Hawk/Widow story that would look great as a comic but it'd be more like 20+ pages and would require a ton of research and that's more than I'd want to commit to right now.
