At the time of that look, that's what I was clinging to (because from the moment Ward asked to lock Garret up himself, man, I knew what was gonna happen.)
But then on the plane, there's no doubt he killed those two agents. Hand's death might've been a fakeout, but those two were definitely dead. So that killed the triple-agent theory for me. I imagine he was manipulated into joining Hydra by Garret when he was at his most vulnerable and Garret gave him a purpose. But his time with Coulson's team will have affected him. I think (hope) it'll make him start to doubt things.
Now to have to wait a week until the next episode... At least it's only one week!
I don't know if they're going to go dark enough that killing Hand and the two agents are worth it to get to HYDRA, or if they're going to pull some twist...possibly that only they have stuff like the night-night gun and icers because Fitz invented them and they aren't general issue yet, but yeah, I still think Coulson sent him because Garrett would trust him.

As a die-hard Angel fan I should be used to my show punching me in the gut like that... alas, I'm not. ;)
