Once again I'm waiting for a new page to illustrate, so instead I sat down and finally made a Christmas version of my Münster postcard.

I'm hoping to unload a bunch of those in December when our city is swarming with tourists.

I've caught an infernal cold, so these past two days I was actually glad I didn't have any pressing work on my desk. Instead I've been watching hours of Warehouse 13. And I started on Alli Snow's 100 k sequel to White Blank Page which I've been saving up for a rainy week just like this. (Rainy in the metaphorical sense, anyway. :)

I'm just annoyed that this interfered with the Taiji class I planned to sign up for. But the next one starts in two months, so I hope I can get into that one instead. The class is part of the university program, hence students get first pick.

Technical question: The other day I spilled some water on my keyboard and since then, the right shift key produces only x's. Like, A becomes xa. I'm writing on my backup for now, but it's a pain in the ass since the broken keyboard is an ergonomic one (Microsoft Natural Keyboard Pro). A discontinued model at that: hard to replace. Before I throw it out, does anyone know of a layman's way to fix the broken key?

Your postcards are lovely! I can't decide whether I like the sledge (?) or the pigeons better.

Actually, if you sell these through an online shop or something, I'd buy some, although I don't know if dealing with international shipping/etc. would be too much of a pain on your end. My mom loves to feed pigeons, albeit she does that in Seoul. (I don't believe she's ever been to Germany.)

I'm glad you like them. :) If you're interested, I could mail you some cards without going through an online shop. Online stores are something I'm meaning to look into, eventually, but this is such a local product, I just handle the shipping myself. Postage would be on top of the cost of the cards (which are 1€ each), but if it's only a handful of cards, I can stuff them in a regular envelope, so it shouldn't be too much.

Five each, so ten total plus shipping? I don't know how to handle international payment, but I do have a Paypal account if you take that.

Oh, these cards are quite pretty. I like summer one better though, mostly because the foreground pigeons.

That sucks about your keyboard. I also used to have a Microsoft Natural Keyboard for my desktop before I switched to wireless Logitech one, but I loved the key arrangement a lot. I'm actually currently trying to decide whether I ought to declutter it, because I kept it all these years because it's my favorite keyboard in principle, but in practice never use these days. If you want it, I could see whether it really still works (or the dust killed it in the meantime) and send it to your for just the postage (no idea what a keyboard sized package costs). I don't think mine was called "Pro" though, so maybe it's different from yours.

Oh, really? Before it falls victim to the declutter, yeah, I definitely want it! I don't think sitting around will do anything to a keyboard, and for just the cost of shipping I'm totally willing to take that risk. This one here is driving me batty... and it's sooo uncomfortable, and I've only been using it for 24 hours and I don't even write all that much.

That would a great solution to see my formerly so beloved keyboard to a new home where it can still work. Just PM or mail me your postal address and I should be able to box it and send it off tomorrow.

ETA: I plugged it into my desktop and it still works, including the shift keys. ;) Mine doesn't have that extra row of round top keys you can see on the wikipedia page for the MS Natural Keyboard Pro, it just has the F1-F12 keys as the uppermost row, but otherwise it is the same design, with the curve and the main keyboard split into two sections. Also mine looks somewhat grungier, but it's not gross or anything, it just had a long live with me...

I'm pretty sure I can program some of the F keys to take the functions of the top row, if needed.

Oh, that's lovely! I still like the summer one better (the sense of perspective is just beautiful), but it enriches both of them to have them as part of a set.

Yeah, I find the idea of a set very appealing. I will probably do two or three more motifs so I can print and offer them as a set. Until now I was just testing the waters and seeing whether there's interest. I've sold a couple dozen of the right one without even trying so since I have some time on my hands, I'll look into more economical ways of printing now. (What I've been doing is not sustainable since it's too expensive and time-consuming. But it seemed a good idea to start with a small number of prints.)
