Warehouse 13 / SHIELD

I don't know what prompted me to check out Warehouse 13 now of all times, with Sleepy Hollow and Agents of SHIELD just getting started. But anyway, I streamed the pilot of W13 the other day and liked it so much I ordered the season 1 box set right away. It's like The X-Files on crack. Right down to Myka being the hypercompetent, rational agent and Pete being the intuitive, sensitive one. And I didn't know Saul Rubinek was on it. I heard that more characters are gonna get introduced to the team later on but I'm already liking the characters quite a lot as they are.

I'm on board with Sleepy Hollow and SHIELD, too. The characters on AoS are still rather broadly painted but I wouldnd't expect more from the pilot of an ensemble show. They'll have plenty of time, hopefully, to develop all of them with more nuance.
(I like Agent Ward, which seems to be not a popular opionon but I don't care, I find his wannabe macho James Bond act amusing. "Gramsy?"... :)
Really enjoyed the pilot, I laughed out loud more than once. I'm looking forward to the next episode.

Well, sun sets at 7pm already so there's plenty excuse to watch a lot of tv.

My partner and one of my closest local friends are both huge fans of Warehouse 13, but I have hesitated to watch it because it doesn't sound like entirely my thing. I'll probably watch it at some point, though--it seems pretty inevitable. :)

Hm, yeah, I don't know if it's the show for you, based on your other interests. But it's always worth a shot?

If you like W13 now -- wow, I'm looking forward to you in the later seasons! *g* They get sharper, but also darker; Myka always-always remains essential, though, and the other women in it too, so it's always my show. (And aw, Pete: He really grew on me.)

I found Pete quite adorable right from the start. All of them, really. :)

Warehouse 13!! It is the most delightful show and I love it. Myka is GREAT, Pete is an adorable goof-ball, Saul Rubinek is awesome in everything he does, and -- let's just say more characters will be introduced later, including my favourite. :)

The best part of the show, aside from the silly Artifacts, is the wonderful family vibe. You can just tell that the actors love hanging out together.

Saul Rubinek is a bit like Mark Sheppard for me; he brings a certain something to all his roles, no matter how secondary. It's great to see him in a major role.

The character chemistry was great even in the pilot. And I LOVE magical silly artifacts as plot devices.
