I did it! I completed the owl tower traverse in one go! I kind of really needed that bit of accomplishment today, so, yay. :)

And no one with a videocamera was there to preserve this momentous moment for posterity...

Next I can traverse it in the opposite direction, so it won't get boring anytime soon.

Yay! Climbing looks like an amazingly tough sport.

It can be, definitely. Especially the stuff you can see on youtube. But you can do climbing at every level, so it's a great sport to ease into for beginners as well. And the amazing thing is that it doesn't feel like a hardcore workout even when it is, because it's so much fun and you're so focused on the next holds. Very different from weight-training at a gym.
