My plan was to go indoor climbing today... I figured, hot day = nice and quiet gym. But after a little stroll to the store, I decided I need a new plan. *wipes off sweat* *takes shower*

Never ceases to amaze how 35° in Germany carry so much more umpf than 40+° in Utah.

Urgh, yeah. It's the humidity I suspect. The worst is that at the end of a sunny day my flat is always hotter than outside with the heat trapped and no cross-ventilation. In anticipation I've already blocked windows with damp sheets, and given my poor rats who can't flee outside damp towels for some evaporation cooling, but that only does so much.

Well, at least the temperature forecast says it's going to be cooler starting tomorrow, and the nights are still okay here at least.

I don't envy you your attic space right now.

I live in western North America and have also spent many summers in Germany, and I can't disagree about the umpf factor.
