The Americans 1x12 reactions

Just finished this week's episode and the ending made me hiss "yesss!" at the tv, because I'd been hoping that Nina would turn on Stan and become a triple agent.

I have a feeling Clark's game with Martha might eventually backfire, too. It seems like she has suspicions and deliberately shuts them down because she's desperate to believe the lie. But the next time Phillip starts to push her to do something, that fragile bubble might burst.

Anyway, the entire ep was so brilliant. Damn. Last week's was fantastic, too. (And I love how among all the twisted, questionable morals and ruthless manipulations, there are still moments of dry humor... I mean, Claudia as the mother of the groom. "I can see the family resemblance.")

Only one more episode this season... I have no idea what to expect. And that's what I love about this show.

I was wondering about this too. There was that line, this past week, right after he asked her to do something awful, where she began: "You came from out of nowhere..." and then veered off into a "you were just what I needed at the right time" direction. But that phrasing sure sounded like hindbrain suspicions to me.
