The Americans

Happy tumblr post with bulletpoints: why you should absolutely watch The Americans. (I wanted to reblog it but I couldn't find the reblogging button. No, really. It's pathetic.) And jae is looking for squee and/or meta about the show.

I gotta add Elizabeth Jennings to my chicks-kicking-ass collage because she's a wonderful character. Keri Russell manages to convey a wealth of emotions even when she's keeping her face seemingly unmoved. Perfect casting.

Today was sunny, clear blue skies all day and temperatures above 5°C which is way too low for April but after the last few weeks it felt like 15°C. For the first time in weeks I wasn't uncomfortably cold while bouldering. And my endurance was much better, I had kind of started to worry about that. Now I wonder if my lack of endurance in recent weeks was cold-related. I mean, the problem when you're climbing in nasty weather is that you can't really sit down and take little breaks and without brief recovery periods, my muscles still exhaust quickly. But I noticed it while running too.

My engine is just not made for cold, clammy weather. And I'm living in the wrong place. But anyway, days like this help.

I think the reblog button appears only when the post is on your dashboard. At least I never see any when looking at Tumblr posts on individual Tumblrs, then I only get the "<3" and follow buttons. Tumblr makes little sense.

That can't be because I'm never reading from my dashboard and I've reblogged posts before. Hm, but maybe I reblogged them all from the tags, not the posts.

The tag displays for me are styled just like the dashboard, so there I have reblog buttons too. And actually on Tumblrs I already follow I also get a reblog button on the individual page, but not on Tumblrs I don't follow, it seems. I guess it's one of these Tumblr idiosyncrasies, like how you can only comment on posts when the stars align correctly when you have followed someone for dome time and they have enabled some option or such.

Yeah, I don't have a Tumblr, and Tumblr isn't exactly making me want to get one, you know? Grr.
