Oh, thank you for linking to my posts about the Americans! I can't guarantee that they're particularly insightful, but I'm loving having conversations with people about the show. :)

Question for future reference: What are your preferences about language use in comments? In a linkspam post like this one, for example, do you prefer that we comment on English links in English and German ones in German? Or do you prefer that we keep it all in English?

I thought it's very insightful, actually! (I was mentally nodding along, as your impressions pretty much align with my own.)

re. language preferences... I'm totally open. Usually I reply in the language the comment is in; most comments I get are in English but sometimes I get replies in German and then my brain switches back.

I generally post and comment in English because that's the language everybody here speaks - plus, well, force of habit.
