This is such a brilliant show. ♥
Yesterday I was in town to unload a couple of records and CDs, and while they were assessing the goods I had half an hour to fill. Dear Lord, half an hour downtown is dangerous to the budget. Good thing I rarely do it.
Anyway, I went to Karstadt Sport, just to see if they have rock rings which of course they didn't... but suddenly my gaze fell upon this pull-up bar for the door frame (scroll down to see it in action.) I had seen this before on Amazon and never trusted its stability, but the guy at the shop assured me it works. And it does!* Which is great timing because my gym membership expired last month and with me barely working any more I don't have the cash to renew it... but it's cool because this thing, along with my Yoga mat, makes a practically 99% adequate replacement.
Cyn, I hope you're reading this 'cause you want this, I know you do! It's perfect! It's got a great grip as well, more comfortable than a normal bar.
So I earned 13 Euro for my old records and spent 25 on this gadget. So much for making some quick cash. ;) At least I resisted the temptation to get a tasty treat from Starbucks. (I know they're evil and all but damn if they don't have delicious cakes.)
*my version works for doorframes >11cm and <16cm (which I could convert into inch but am too lazy right now)
