The temperatures have finally dropped below freezing \o/ \o/ \o/. This morning there were even a few snowflakes in the air. About time too, the first spring greens were starting to poke their little heads out.

I checked my LJ calender and deduced from past posts that last year the lakes were skateable after only five days of frost, so. With a little luck there'll be iceskating in less than a week. Fingers crossed.

God, I'm so glad the permadrizzle has stopped. Tomorrow I'mma go bouldering. First time in subzero temperatures. I got my trusty gloves so I'm all set.

I like the winter when it's actual winter-like. :O)

There's a few centimeters of snow on the ground in Braunschweig :( (yeah, I don't like snow).

Now if at least we could get some sun? I haven't seen the sun in two weeks by now.

Yeah, it's snowing here as well now, contrary to what Wetteronline said. The sun is gone once again but I do love snow; it makes everything brighter even on a cloudy day. (Plus I own a pair of skies.)
