[personal profile] selenak's big post of Connor love pretty much sums up my own feelings about Connor and his relationship with Angel. I loved Connor from the moment he jumped out of that portal.

Most of you have probably already seen this, I think it was linked on [livejournal.com profile] su_herald... but some might not and this is too good to miss:[livejournal.com profile] _eb attended the annual Screenwriter's Expo where, among other things, Tim Minear was teaching a class on story breaking. They were outlining an episode of AtS as an example. It's extremely interesting to see how the show's writers break the storyline for an episode. It makes me want to drop everything and write fan fiction. (The post has a transcript of an interview with Joss as well.)

Lots of work at the moment. I'm working on three books at the same time, and as a result I don't have a clue whether I'm still on schedule. Usually I can tell to the day where I am, deadline wise. Hngh. But at least the sketches for project no.1 are already greenlighted, the ones for no.2 will hopefully get the okay next week without extensive changes *keeps fingers crossed*, and I just finished the rough sketches for no.3, though I still have to fit them to the proper format and add a few backgrounds. At least that one stage will be completed soon. I need to feel I'm making some progress.

In other news, turns out that my printer troubles were indeed caused by my very own firewall, and while it cost me a whole day of trying to figure out why it went on strike, at least now I know where the problem lies. Approximately. Unfortunately I have no idea which of the countless programs listed as blocked is the one process needed by the printer... but I can print if I have to... just have to disable my firewall for half a minute (gulp).

thanks for the link to the Minear article. Interesting that Joss says that A/B is over and Tim says that A/C was a mistake. Interesting that the A/B and A/C 'shippers still believe. Such is the power of the 'verse....:-)

and Tim says that A/C was a mistake.

Ah, see, here's the thing: I like C/A a lot but for me, it never had any meaning if someone else doesn't... even TBTB. Actually I would have loved to see them do Kate/Angel on the show, which I think they intended to do originally, and leave C/A to the fan writers who had a better handle on it, anyway. The way it played out, I think they screwed up quite a bit - though they saved the ball at the last minute with 'You're Welcome'. I love it how they managed to fix so many of season three's wrongs in the following seasons. Very elegant and creative.

One reason more we needed a season six... maybe then they could've found a belated explanation for the wonky Lindsey storyline. But I digress.

The seminar sounds really interesting, doesn't it. You could practically feel the creative energy in the room.
