Ahem...

I didn't even plan on this. But I was idly leafing through a Captain America comic and then this happened.

My contribution to the Hawkeye Initiative. I'm too lazy to do a polished version though... what I really wanted to do (before I got distracted) was make some art with Hawk and Widow being all badass 'n stuff.

I didn't even mean to do one too but it jumped right AT ME when I opened the comic in the middle. Argh. Now I'm hesitant to look at the rest.

I grew up on Franco-Belgian comics and while they are far from perfect and in fact one of my favorite artists does that shit too (only better), it's not as prevalent, I feel. Or maybe I was just lucky with the series I read. The problem with US comics is that so much is one and the same genre, with the same tropes.
