Summary: Having an Iron Man and Captain America plush duo on your desk that you can place into compromising positions is a totally valid way to amuse yourself.

I stumbled over a rec for this fic on the most excellent het_reccers comm, and something about the rec made me click the link in spite of my serious Nat/Clint mono-shipping OTPer self... and I was totally delighted. This fic is cute and fluffy in the best way: not cloying, but lighthearted and funny.

This story actually gave me a hankering for Darcy/Clint fic, which I so did not see coming but which makes me quite happy because it means there's a whole new fic pool to dive into. (Actually I spent a considerable portion of the afternoon doing just that, instead of working...)

I love that fic. Particularly the image of Darcy keeping the two plushies on her desk in more innocent positions once the actual people themselves start showing up. :)

I'm rather happy I followed my impulse and clicked the link. Sometimes you just need some plushie Avengers in your fanfic. :)

I read all of kellifer's non-Steve/Tony fic and enjoyed it all, for what that's worth.

There actually are Avengers plushies for sale but they didn't look quite right.
