Current story count at the new archive: 198. No end in sight. If I ever come up with an idea like this again? Shoot me!

The only ray of light is that about half of the remaining stories are outside links, so uploading them will take only a fraction of the time. Still. I'm going rollerblading now :oP

The "new" archive? Isn't this the same Better Buffy???

Well, the content is the same. Or will be, once I'm done transferring the recs already archived in the old archive ((http://s8219.net/BetterBuffyFic/Archive/index.html). But the underlying structure of the new one (http://s8219.net/bbfarchive/) is completely different: It's searchable, and also much, much easier and faster for the archivist to update. I mean, it's still a pain, but before, for each new rec we had to go and change the code on five html pages. Pain in the butt, that was.

The updates now still take ages, but that's just because I have to move 400 stories at once. After that, the idea is to update it with new recs at a leisurely pace, just a few stories a week. I'm looking forward to that. :)
