Summary: Clint was raised to kill and for years he blindly followed, but now he can no longer live with what he is doing and tries to flee. A fellow assassin and his love, Natasha, is sent to kill him but cannot bring herself to do it and Clint convinces her to go with him. Fury sends in a team to take them both out but when they fail, he blows up the building. One survives.

Entertaining and convincing AU action vid. Not crack like I assumed from the title. Well, not crackier than the movie. :)

That first one works really well. Though I'm not sure I would have gotten the story without reading the blurb first to help me decipher how things are supposed to connect (but then I often have that problem with vids). I now want to read it as AU though...

I got the first, obvious, parts but the rest I didn't get without the summary. (I watch vids once first without reading the summary.) So I read it in a different way, but that way it worked well, too. Also, my interpretation didn't end in character death so I might actually still prefer it.

I didn't actually realize the character death in the blurb. Through my rosecolored glasses I somehow parsed the "One survives." with "one" used like a general "you" (which granted, isn't so common in English, but I miss the "man" pronoun so dearly that I often use it that way, so...)
